New Delhi: Hours after parting ways with former team member Arvind Kejriwal and his proposed political party, anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare met yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Wednesday evening.
However, there was no information on what transpired at the meeting. Hazare, who advocates a transparent and democratic approach, did not divulge any detail about his meeting with the yoga guru.
The anti-corruption crusader also expressed anger on the media as the reports of his meeting with Ramdev got public.
Hazare, who has always been quite media-friendly and has credited the media for the success of his campaign, is now apparently angry with them. While attempting to skirt the questions posed by mediapersons, Hazare said, "Kyun maar rahe ho? (why are you hitting me?)"
Is the crusader angry with the media for making his meeting with Ramdev public? Or is he worried about the questions being raised over his alleged relations with the RSS as his meeting with the yoga guru took place in the presence of a representative from the RSS?
Meanwhile, former Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal has expressed shock and disappointment over Hazare parting ways with his political party.
Breaking his silence over the issue, Kejriwal said, "We all have a lot of respect for Anna ji. He is like a father figure and guru to me. His decision was very shocking, sad and unexpected."
Kejriwal also held a meeting with former Team Anna members Prashant Bhushan, Sanjay Singh, Kumar Vishwas and other members of India Against Corruption.
