CJ Shib Shankar appeals the govt to help save son Arian from Hunter Syndrome

12-year old Arian is suffering from a rare genetic disorder called Hunters Syndrome. It's deadly disease and the treatment would cost his family a whopping Rs 1.5 crore annually . Given the high cost of the treatment and financial constraints faced by family, his father Shib Shankar Chowdhary's has now turned a CJ and is petitioning the new health minister on for help save his son by subsidizing the cost of the treatment.

CJ Nirmala, a community correspondent with Video Volunteers at Ranchi, met a mother whose three year old daughter was sexually assaulted by a 25 year old man who is known for carrying out crimes against women in the region. After repeated appeals by woman to seek justice and punishment for the perpetrator, nothing much has changed. They have now filed this CJ report to highlight their issues and demand a severe punishment for the offender. This report is part of the joint initiative by Video Volunteers and CJ.
