Minutes : 1Mercedes once again affirms its pace with Rosberg quickest overall and beats teammate Hamilton, in second, as well. The Ferrari duo were next with Alonso ahead of Massa. Webber was faster than Vettel again while Raikkonen made progress. Button continues to give McLaren hope for the weekend. Final practice will be held on Saturday at 0900 GMT. Join us then for the remainder of the Monaco GP weekend. ----- The chequered flag waves to end practice. With 15 minutes to go, Mercedes is on the top again. Just 30 minutes remain for Thursday practice to end. Past the halfway mark now. Not too much of a delay. The session has resumed. The session has been stopped. Repairs carried out on kerbs at Turn 13. Grosjean has crashed at Turn 1. Carried too much speed. The driver is okay but the Lotus is damaged. Marshalls are lifting the car from the track. An hour remains. It should be a busy session. The two Saubers are the first cars out on track. The session has begun. ----- Hello and welcome to the second practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix. First practice saw Rosberg topping the sheets but only marginally from Alonso. Red Bull was off the pace and so was Raikkonen. Both McLaren drivers made it into the top ten giving the British team hope. Things will, however, settle down in second practice, scheduled to begin at 1200 GMT. Minutes : 0Rosberg continues to display Mercedes' pace as he went fastest ahead of Ferrari driver Alonso, who was just 0.087 seconds slower than the German. Hamilton was fifth. The fastest Red Bull was Webber in seventh while Raikkonen was down in 11th, just behind Vettel. Second practice begins at 1200 GMT. Teams will be thinking whether a one-stopper is possible come Sunday. 30 minutes to go and Rosberg is still on top. He has been the quickest for some time now. All drivers have now done an installation lap. The session is underway with Gutierrez the first driver out on track to conduct his installation lap. Bottas is the only rookie not to have raced in Monaco in any single-seater series before. No team has opted to run their test and reserve drivers for first practice. Pirelli has allocated the soft (prime) and supersoft (option) tyres for the weekend. ----- Hello and welcome to round six of the 2013 Formula 1 season. It's the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix on the sinewy streets of Monte Carlo. Mercedes is hoping that it could grab its fourth pole position in a row as it has the best chance of keeping its rivals behind, on a circuit notoriously difficult to overtake. Like Mercedes, Red Bull will be aiming to sort out its tyre issues while Ferrari and Lotus would want to take another step ahead.
