

Abu Dhabi GP: Top-10 finish for Sutil, Resta
Abu Dhabi: Sahara Force India drivers, Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta managed eighth and ninth place finishes at the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, to further consolidate the team's sixth position in the constructors' championship, here on Sunday.
Force India earned six points to take their tally to 57 and increase the gap with nearest rival Sauber by 15 points, with just one race left in the season.

Hamilton clinches Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Abu Dhabi: Lewis Hamilton showed signs of his old self as he stormed to victory in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, after Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel retired on the first lap.
Vettel's Red Bull picked up a right rear puncture and spun off at Turn Two. The German driver made it back to the pits, but was forced to retire for the first time this season.

Vettel spins out of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Abu Dhabi: Double Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel suffered his first retirement of the season on Sunday after his Red Bull spun off at the second corner of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The 24-year-old German, who has already clinched this year's title, had made a clean start from a record-equalling 14th pole position of the season but appeared to suffer a sudden puncture to his rear-right tyre.

Ecclestone doubtful of US Grand Prix in Texas
Abu Dhabi: The head of Formula One expressed doubts on Saturday over whether the 2012 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, will go ahead as scheduled.
F1 is due to return to the U.S. after a five-year absence. Indianapolis last hosted a race in 2007. Before that, Phoenix hosted three GPs from 1989-91, while Watkins Glen in upstate New York hosted from 1961-80.

Sutil to start from 9th, Resta from 10th
Abu Dhabi: Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta provided Force India a good chance to consolidate its sixth position in the constructors' championship by qualifying ninth and tenth respectively for Sunday's F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel recorded a record 14th pole by clocking a 1:38.481 in the dying moments of Q3 at Yas Marina circuit, here on Saturday.

Vettel takes pole for Abu Dhabi GP
Abu Dhabi: Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel took pole position at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Saturday on the final lap of qualifying, matching Nigel Mansell's record of 14 poles in a season and putting him in prime position to equal the record for most wins.
The Red Bull driver clocked 1 minute, 38.481 seconds at the Yas Marina circuit, 0.14 seconds quicker than McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton who had dominated the final practice session and was leading qualifying until the last lap.

Sutil not sure about his Force India future
Abu Dhabi: He was supposed to know his fate with Force India by now but Adrian Sutil is still clueless as to whether he would be competing for it next season and the German driver has no idea why it is taking so long for the outfit to decide.
Sutil was to know whether he would be part of the team ahead of this weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix but will have to wait longer to get the final word on his future.

Sutil 8th, di Resta 9th in Abu Dhabi practice
Abu Dhabi: Force India's Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta showed promise ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, setting the eighth and ninth-fastest time in the second free practice session on Friday.
Germany's Sutil finished eighth with the fastest lap time of 1m 40.951s, just ahead of di Resta, who clocked 1m 41.021s to finish ninth in the incident-packed practice session.

Hamilton fastest in Abu Dhabi practice
Abu Dhabi: Lewis Hamilton drove mistake-free to edge McLaren teammate Jenson Button in the second practice at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Friday, while Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel was unhurt when he slid into a wall.
Hamilton clocked 1 minute, 39.586 seconds on the 5.5-kilometer Yas Marina circuit, 0.199 seconds quicker than Button, who was fastest in the first practice.

Fun-loving Raikkonen's return eagerly awaited
Abu Dhabi: Kimi Raikkonen's possible Formula One comeback would liven up the post-race party scene as well as adding a sixth world champion to the starting grid, rivals agree.
The 2007 world champion, who quit Formula One to go rallying at the end of 2009 but remains hugely popular with the fans, has been linked to a seat next season at Williams although the team have made no public comment.
