Depending on which office. For e.g. even in todays corporate sector the client based companies require their employees to be dressed formally. On the other hand in product development companies where there is little or no need to interact with clients personally, dress codes are casual. It's unlikely that a uniform dress code for all sectors would be a good solution. However, this is unrelated to dress code on campus since in most campuses around the world students are not required to be dressed formally for regular classes just to be prepared for the jobs later. This is true even for the top ranking B-schools of the world.
