Indian woman, 6 others journey to the South Pole

New Delhi: Delhi-based Reena Kaushal and six other women made an incredible journey to the South Pole to mark the 60th year of the foundation of the Commonwealth Group of Nations. The women braved conditions that were minus 40 degree Celsius. They skied an average of six to ten hours a day for 38 days to reach the South Pole. Reena hopes her achievement will help adventure sports enthusiasts in India.
