Sonia Gandhi is remote controlling the government now, says the Opposition after the Government revived the National Advisory Council (NAC) with Sonia Gandhi back as chairperson. The NAC lost most of its powers when Sonia Gandhi resigned as chairperson in 2006 after the office of profit controversy, but during UPA 1, the NAC was seen as the moving force for many of the UPA's flagship social sector programmes like RTI and NREGA. So is the NAC going to be the new power centre?.
