Mumbai: The oil slick off Mumbai coast is a matter of serious concern as it poses grave environmental threats. Drums filled with pesticide detached from the MSC Chitra have been floating dangerously in the sea, that would be detrimental to the aquatic animals. However, the fisher folk in Mumbai claim that the fish are safe without any effect of the oil slick. The oil slick happened at the sea and so nothing can happen by consuming them.
