New Delhi: Even as the Congress looks for consensus on a presidential candidate, the demands of various parties are growing, putting the party in a bind. While North East leader PA Sangma has insisted that a tribal candidate be made the president, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has asked for a three-year moratorium on the interest on the debts accrued by the state, in return for her cooperation in the matter.
