Mumbai: The Patekar girls, the eldest 12 and the youngest only one, left to fend for themselves. Their mother 28-year-old Vijaymala Patekar hemorrhaged to death on the operating table last month. She was pregnant with her fifth girl child. The girls' father was arrested.
