New Delhi: After absconding for 13 days, former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda, accused of abetting the suicide of 23-year-old former air hostess Geetika Sharma, surrendered at Ashok Vihar police station, Delhi in the wee hours of Saturday. The Delhi Police arrested Kanda after he surrendered. Earlier on Friday, Kanda's anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Delhi High Court.
