New Delhi: Former Haryana minister Gopal Goyal Kanda, key accused in the Geetika Sharma death case, was sent to a seven-day police custody after he was produced before a Delhi court on Saturday afternoon. The Delhi police had earlier sought a 14-day custody of Kanda. The former Haryana minister was finally arrested after he surrendered in a dramatic early morning appearance on Saturday - 10 days after absconding. Kanda has been accused of abetting the suicide of 23-year-old former MDLR air hostess Geetika Sharma.
