The man who flushed out terrorists from the Golden Temple in 1984, Lt General KS Brar, survived a bid on his life in London on Monday. Lt General KS Brar told CNN-IBN that he would've died had he not fought off his assailants. Lt Gen KS Brar was the victim of a savage attack in distant London on Sunday. While returning to his hotel with his wife after dinner, he was set upon by reportedly three bearded men, who slashed him on the throat with knives.
