Gulbarga: Train caught fire as two lovers set themselves ablaze

A couple set themselves on fire and the bogie that they were travelling in, in Gulbarga in Karnataka. The police claim they were facing opposition from their families, which forced them to take this step. Railway sources say that Shankarappa, a rickshaw driver and Varsha, a student, set themselves on fire as their families were opposed to their affair. 'They set themselves on fire inside the bathroom, but came out and fell on a berth, and because they had used petrol the fire spread,' B Srikantappa, DIG railways, Karnataka, said.
