Surat: The one-day old baby who was thrown off the third floor of a building in Surat succumbed to serious injuries sustained on Friday morning. The police are questioning the infant's mother and her husband. The baby's mother claimed that she was unaware of her pregnancy and became confused and thus, threw the baby out when she gave birth in the washroom. 'I gave birth in washroom and got scared. I threw the baby out in state of confusion,' said the mother.
