India Against Corruption activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal said he is not claiming that Mukesh and Anil Ambani have accounts in HSBC Bank in Geneva. He said the list with names of 700 Indians, including Ambanis and other business tycoons, was handed over to the Indian government by the French government. Kejriwal said his question to the government is that when the other Indians, who had comparatively smaller amounts in Swiss banks, were raided by the Income Tax department, why were raids not conducted on Ambanis and other business tycoons.
