New Delhi: A day after the two leaders of opposition questioned the appointment of Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Ranjit Sinha as the new Director of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), support for the government came from unexpected quarters. Senior Supreme Court lawyer and BJP leader Ram Jethmalani congratulated the PM for 'averting a national disaster' by appointing Sinha instead of the 'other person who wanted to become the CBI chief'.
