New Delhi: In a surprising move, the BJP on Sunday suspended senior leader and Rajya Sabha member Ram Jethmalani from the party using power vested under Article 25 of BJP's constitution. Since Jethmalani is an MP, only the Parliamentary board can expel him which would meet on Monday to decide the fate of the party member. Jethmalani had challenged the party leadership to take action against him for his stand on the appointment of the new CBI director and party president Nitin Gadkari.
