New Delhi: After much debate and opposition from the Samajwadi Party, the quota bill on promotions in government services was passed in the Rajya Sabha. The bill was passed almost unanimous with 206 voting for and only 10 against it, despite the Samajwadi Party disrupting both houses to protest the bill.
