New Delhi: Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Monday reiterated that the sudden hanging of Afzal Guru, who was convicted in the 2001 Parliament attack case, on February 9 was not a political decision, adding that the family was informed through speed post on February 7 itself.
