Chennai: The Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal award issued its notification on Wednesday with Tamil Nadu and Karnataka getting major chunk of the the river water. The tribunal awarded both the states 270 thousand million cubic (TMC) feet of water each out of the total of 740 tmcft.
