Twenty years after a devastating series of explosions crippled India's financial capital Mumbai leaving 257 dead and over 700 injured, the Supreme Court on Thursday confirmed death penalty on Yakub Memon for conspiring and masterminding the blasts in 1993. Actor Sanjay Dutt, though cleared of terror charges, will serve five years in jail for illegally possessing AK-56 rifle and a 9 mm pistol. His sentence, however, has been reduced from six to five years.
