Disqualification of MPs, MLAs: Govt likely to appeal against SC order, say sources

Supreme Court on Wednesday passed a landmark order that said from now on, MPs and MLAs convicted by any court will be disqualified from holding office the moment they get convicted. But the order does not operate retrospectively. Sources tell CNN-IBN that the government is likely to appeal against the apex court's order.
