Atlanta: President Bush is in Japan for the G8 Summit, and he's defending his decision to attend the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics on August 8, 2008. At a news conference in Japan on Sunday, President Bush stood by his decision to attend the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics next month. Some world leaders say they will not attend the opening ceremonies because of China's human rights record, but President Bush said not going could lead to a rockier relationship with China.
