Anger and outrage are the emotion at play at Delhi's Modern School, Vasant Vihar where a student died after an asthma attack on her way to hospital from school. The school authorities are defending themselves in the face of this angry outpouring. The jury still out on but Akkriti's case begs the question: Why are there no guidelines on how Indian schools should handle medical emergencies?
