I can say, we are in half way to catch up the great teachings of vivekananda, his ideals need be injected among the youth to build better and corruption free india.
vivekananda says "Jealousy and absence of collective action is the very nature of enslaved nations"
"The universe is ours to enjoy. But want nothing. To want is weakness. Want makes us beggars, and we are sons of the king, not beggars"
If we read above two quotations and pratice it most of our indias problems will be solved (like corruption and poorness)
We need to go beyond our internal egos and start work collectively and selflessly to build better india.
Swamy vivekananda ideas need to go more intensely into the indian blood irrespective of relegion, caste and creed.

Swamiji has a big role in creating Indian institutes like the IISC which unfortunately most of today's youth do not know. I wish this program started by CNNIBN does justice to swamijis contribution to our nation by spreading his message and recognizing his contributions. Wish you all the best.

The scope and intensity of Swamiji's contributions is as yet dawning on the consciousness of the country. As he himself said,"Only a Vivekananda can realise what Vivekananda has done." His contribution to religious thought, to national consciousness, to literature even as well as the example he set up for his countrymen to receive inspiration from are as yet only sensed from a distance.
The foremost danger however appears to be an attempt to appropriate his religious teachings by right wingers, as also to ignore his work by believing him to have been either dated, or merely a religious leader. While noone can claim to grasp the whole of Vivekananda but people can understand that his works are like the white light passing through the prism of perception and splitting into rays of many hues, thereby developing a further curiosity as well as tolerance.

Swamiji who is the youth icon of India is unfortunately in not so well known among young people. For them he is simply a person from the pages of history. Hardly do they know that he can help them overcome all their doubts and weaknesses. They have no idea that if they let him to guide them like an elder brother they will never regret their decision.

we the Indians are not doing enough to pay our tribute to Swami Vivekananda, PATRIOTIC SAINT OF MODERN INDIA. For example a road in Mumbai city was named after Swami Vivekananda way back in 1963, even after 48 years of naming this road, 98 % Citizens of Mumbai City DO NOT KNOW THIS. Road is known as S V ROAD!!!

It would be great if Swami's life and sayings are incorporated in our school books. That's the only way we can create an India with character and courage. More research should be done in our universities on the Swami.

Swamiji has not been given due recognition. Youth know his name but not his message his life and work. Millions graduate from colleges in india with degrees in hand but having poor knowledge and little or no motivation to achieve something or make a positive change.Had he been properly recognized India's fate face and yuva would have been different.

Even though Swamiji's contributions are immensely valuable for the entire humanity. His powerful message of selfless service and universal brotherhood are the needed medicines for the modern world. There's a very limited exposure of his teachings in the world and we must try to spread these bold ideas to the entire human society irrespective of nation, race or religion.
